Home & Office Visit Insurance Coverage

Can an office visit be billed to a health insurance policy?
We are currently in-network with, and therefore able to directly bill Aetna, and any Memorial Health Partners-based policy. Although policies should
cover lactation we strongly recommend that you confirm this regarding your particular plan prior to your appointment with us. Any portion of the visit not
covered by your carrier will be directly billed to the stored card on your account. If your baby is covered by a policy other than the one you are on we
will also need that information. If their policy is not one that we are not in-network with then you will incur a charge for their portion of the visit as our
services are billed for both clients evaluated and treated.
There are currently no other insurance carriers locally that will permit Private Practice Lactation Consultants to be in-network, despite our personal best efforts and those of lactation consultants and supporters at the State level - including the introduction of State Licensing in 2017. As such, we have
partnered with The Lactation Network in an effort to increase access to coverage for lactation services. If you have private health insurance (BCBS, United, Cigna, Humana particularly) please complete the requested information here. Lactation Network will evaluate your coverage and contact you with a determination. Once coverage has been established you may then book through our scheduling system via the Book Now button.
*Please note that home and virtual visits booked through coverage via Lactation Network, along with home visits with Humana coverage, will be assessed a $75 convenience fee. This is not billable to your insurance and will be billed to the card on file.

What if I have a financial hardship but am in need of help feeding my baby?
If it is determined that you do not have eligible coverage (this will unfortunately include Medicaid and Tricare policies at this time) and you have a financial hardship, please email us at admin@latchsav.com to enquire about available options. We want you to be able to get the help you need and, as such, we have some case-by-case options available along with a referral list.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
We understand that things come up, especially when you have littles. You may reschedule your appointment online if more than 24 hours before your
appointment time. We ask that if you need to cancel an appointment that you do so 24 hours or more before your appointment time to allow for other families in need to access the soonest available appointments. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time (barring a true
emergency), or no-shows without any communication, will be subject to a 50% charge of the appointment fee charged to the card on file.
